Old-world charm is a phrase that describes Langberg very accurately. The farm has a rich history dating back to 1870 and we strive to stay in close contact with these roots. Our comfortable and luxurious Victorian-style rooms transport you back in time to this era of grandeur.

Relax in an original Victorian bath while watching a Nyala antelope graze lazily on a thorn bush a few meters from your window. Join us on a ‘Feeding drive’ and watch our herd of African buffalo from the safety of our game-viewer with the African sun basking the savannah in its last waning rays. This is African romance at its best.

Accommodation

The Clydesdale stables, built in 1880 has been converted into five luxurious double or twin rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The beautifully furnished rooms are air-conditioned and tea & coffee making facilities are available. A stay in one of our Stables is an absolute must for the romantic at heart.

For the family we have six spacious, open plan self-catering units with a double bed, two single beds and an en-suite shower.  They are fully equipped for self-catering with the added bonus of your own private patio and built-in braai. In keeping with the ‘old farm’ style, each unit is also furnished with antiques that remind visitors of a farm of yesteryear. All units are air-conditioned.

 Langberg’s farm-style breakfast is served in our dining room daily and light meals or braai-packs are available on request. Langberg is fully licensed and guests can enjoy a drink on the verandah in the cool of the day or with a cold drink in our unique swimming pool in summer.  ‘Die Watergat’ or local pub (originally the old farm school) can be opened on request – a treat with tall tales and lots of laughs. For the quieter at heart, we have a comfortable TV/Reading room where you can relax and forget all about the arduous journey or the hussle-and-bussle of city life.
