The lodge, themed on a traditional 19th century colonial African farm house, offers three luxurious private suites.

The main lodge includes the owners suite, guest lounge, dining room, kitchen, pool, Pub & Large screen tv room.
Klipspringer lodge is suitable for all year round visits.
The summer months (September to April) are hot (40 C / 104 F), and often balmy.
Sporadic summer thunder showers will cool the air and settle the dust, and will be over so soon that they will not spoil your stay.
Winters (May to August) are warm and mild, (17-22 C / 60-70 F), although guests going on night drives will require warm clothing.

Klipspringer Lodge offers a fully serviced, self-catering experience where our guests enjoy exclusive use of the lodge. The owner is in residence to assist guests with any queries etc. they may have. The guest wing comprises of 3 luxury twin suites- all en-suite with an additional outside shower. Additional comfy camp beds are available for larger parties. The main lodge, themed on an 18th century farm house, provides an air conditioned, luxurious refuge from the modern world. For those who require Internet connection visitors may connect via satellite connection. Relax with a good book from our extensive library or take a dip in the large pool overlooking the waterhole while enjoying the sights and sounds of the bush. In addition to some of the worlds best game viewing opportunities, the lodge is perfectly located to explore the surrounding, beautiful Lowveld area which is steeped in human and geological history. The Phalabowra gate into Kruger National Park is only 15 minutes away- making Klipspringer Lodge a wonderful base from which to explore the majestic central regions of the park. DirectionsKlipspringer Private Safari Lodge is easily accessible from almost anywhere in the world. A scenic 5 hour drive from Johannesburg or fly from Johannesburg International, Sun City or Cape Town into Phalaborwa s Kruger Park Gateway Airport or Eastgate airport at Hoedspruit. South African Airlink operates two daily flights between Johannesburg International Airport and Phalaborwa s Kruger Park Gateway Airport (015 781 5823). Flying time is approx. one hour. Alternatively guests arriving from Capetown or Sun City may fly with SA Express into Eastgate airport at Hoedspruit. Getting to Klipspringer Safari Lodge by car Silonque is just over 500km (5h) by car from Johannesburg and Pretoria on tar all the way to the entrance gate. |
