Description

Welcome to our world ? set amongst the mountains of the Klein Karoo, just outside Montagu and only 2 « hours drive from Cape Town, you can enjoy a truly African adventure in one of the most serene environments of Southern Africa.

You may travel direct to the Lodge in your own vehicle. Alternatively, we have arranged, for cars to be left at Avalon Springs in Montagu, with 24-hour security. We will then collect you in our game-viewing vehicle to commence your adventure into the African bush.

Our Lodge comprises six secluded eco-friendly chalets designed for your comfort, and all meals are provided at the Oasis, not forgetting the traditional South African braaivleis in the evening.

Included in your visit is a nature and game drive through 4,500 hectares of tranquil landscape, encountering various antelope, birds and unique indigenous flora.

Our pride and joy is our Cheetah Conservation Project, the star of which is Duma, our tame, nine-month old, male cheetah. Come and enjoy watching him play rugby and share in the awesome experience of interacting with him, up close and personal.

Another fascination is to watch the feeding of our wild cheetahs, Khulu and Thanda, in their enclosure.
In addition, our sanctuary offers the opportunity of viewing young wildebeest, zebra and bat eared fox from within their enclosures.

This is just a small sample of the amazing treasures that African Game Lodge has to offer.

Unfortunately we cannot accomodate any children under the age of 13 years old!
