We are part of the Great St. Lucia Maputoland Biosphere of which the Greater St. Lucia wetlands has been declared a world heritage site. All within an hour's drive from Pumalanga are the famous Zululand reserves - Umfolozi, Hluhluwe, Mkuze or the resorts of the unique St. Lucia lake system and the famous diving mecca, Sodwana Bay. Pumalanga consists of a total land area of over 7 000 acres, has been in one family for three generations. The reserve consists of different eco-systems combining the higher open grassland, the lower thornveld and the riverine forest all on one property.Excellent game and bird sightings are experienced during walks on our scenic walking trails.
