DirectionsComing from Pietersburg/Polokwane:
Enter Ellisras/Lephalale and proceed straight through the first set of traffic lights (next to Nedbank).
Continue straight passing the Toyota garage on your left.
As you enter the town turn left immediately after passing the Palm Park Hotel on the left hand side towards Matimba/Onverwacht. (Nelson Mandela Drive)
Continue for 20kms straight on.
Turn left into Exxaro’s Grootegeluk Mine.
After 100m you will cross over a railway line.
Turn immediately left down the dirt road.
50ms down on the right hand side you will see the gate to Manketti Lodge.
Coming from Gauteng:
Take N1 to Nylstrom (Modimolle) off ramp.
Turn left towards Vaalwater on the R33.
At Vaalwater make a right turn opposite Spar (Total garage) towards Ellisras (Lephalale) a continuation of the R33-road goes over the mountains.
Continue for about 80kms until you reach a T junction. Turn right.
As you enter the town turn left immediately after passing the Palm Park Hotel on the left hand side towards Matimba/Onverwacht. (Nelson Mandela Drive)
Continue for 20kms straight on, past Onverwacht and Matimba Power Station.
Turn left into Exxaro’s Grootegeluk Mine.
After 100m you will cross over a railway line.
Turn immediately left down the dirt road.
50ms down on the right hand side you will see the gate to Manketti Lodge.
